Multinational technology Group Proton Motor Fuel Cell has developed a hydrogen plant at its Dortmund headquarters and delivered three orders for its emission-free HyFrame® S36 fuel cell to Wilo Se.
The modular and universally applicable systems will be integrated as components into Wilo’s planned H₂Powerplant.
The state of North Rhine-Westphalia and city of Dortmund issued the official building permit in spring 2022.
In the first step, the pilot project will initially serve as an emergency power respectively emergency grid supply for the company headquarters ‘Wilopark’ in the south of the Ruhr metropolis, which was inaugurated in 2021.
