Proton Motor to power German power plant

Proton Motor Fuel Cell has received an order from German housing company Vonovia SE for its 36kW fuel cell with direct grid connection.

The order worth approximately €110,000 will be used in a new power station as part of Vonovia’s efforts to reduce its carbon emissions over the next three years.

The facility is currently under construction and is scheduled to open this summer. Once operational, the facility will supply 81 apartments with carbon-free energy.

Proton Motor’s order announced today follows the company record-breaking quarter which H2 View reported on earlier this month.
