Purem delivers first components for Topsoe’s SOEC hydrogen production tech


Purem by Eberspaecher has begun producing and assembling pressure vessels and other components for Topsoe’s solid oxide electrolyser (SOEC) technology, which is touted as a “highly efficient” solution for green hydrogen production.

At Purem’s site in Neunkirchen, Germany, they have successfully showcased the first pressure vessels, which serve as critical components for the hydrogen-producing reaction.

“We are positioning ourselves for the future, which is why our focus is increasingly on new business areas,” explained Benjamin Brenkel, Executive Vice President and Head of Business Unit Europe at Purem.
