Putin claims Russia can become one of the largest exporters of hydrogen by 2035

Russia is targeting becoming one of the largest global exporters of hydrogen by 2035 with Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, reiterating this target to Italian representatives.

This is according to Tass Russian News Agency who reported that Putin stated his and Russia’s hydrogen targets to representatives of Italian business who could move to secure a steady flow of hydrogen from Russia.

Russia could well build on these partnerships to ensure that the country is one of the largest exporters of hydrogen across the globe whilst also supporting decarbonisation of industries.
