Q&A: Hydrogen safety training

This October, WHA International will host a virtual hydrogen safety training event from October 12 – 14. Through a series of interactive live webinars, students will unpack the full content of WHA’s cumulative Level 2: H2 Practice and Level 3: H2 Design. To get ready for this upcoming training event, we spoke with Dani Murphy, PhD, one of the course instructors and resident hydrogen experts at WHA.

Of course, the hydrogen economy is experiencing some impressive growth right now. What industries do you expect to see represented at this course?

The better question might be, “What industries do we not expect to be represented?” Hydrogen is a hot topic right now. We will see students from the energy sector, transportation, the chemical processing industry, as well as new players using hydrogen for the first time in research and development.

What kinds of people are coming? Are these primarily technical experts or will we have some hydrogen beginners in the group?
