Quantron unveils hydrogen powered Class 8 truck at California Expo

Quantron US has unveiled its hydrogen fuel cell electric (FCEV) semi-truck with partner FirstElement Fuel at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Anaheim, California.

The truck is capable of carrying 80kg of hydrogen and expected to offer a range of around 750- 850 miles on a 100kg tank system, requiring only 10-15 minutes of refuelling time to 100% capacity.

H2 View reported yesterday (May 2) that the two companies had partnered to offer hydrogen refuelling to customers via FirstElement Fuel’s station network. FirstElement has said its Californian refuelling network has performed over 60,000 fills and sold over 162,000kg of hydrogen.
