Refhyne II project to deliver a 100MW electrolyser for hydrogen production in Germany

The Refhyne II consortium has been awarded €32.4m ($37.42m) by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency to support development of a 100MW electrolyser for hydrogen production in Germany.

Revealed today (Oct 8), the project is seen as a follow on from the first Refhyne project which produced Europe’s largest PEM electrolyser, with Refhyne II set to install a 100MW electrolyser at Shell’s Energy and Chemicals Park in the Rheinland.
