Reliable, accurate pressure data ‘fundamental’ to effective hydrogen operation: Druck

Reliable and accurate pressure data will be “fundamental” to effective hydrogen operation, a H2 View webinar has heard.

Existing pressure sensors can be impacted by inherent challenges with hydrogen gas, like embrittlement, which can provide inaccurate data.

H2 View’s webinar on hydrogen pressure sensor design considerations heard from the Druck team on the importance of selecting equipment that can overcome those issues.

“Hydrogen, being a very small molecule, can get through the [a sensor’s] metallic diaphragm under pressure,” said Mike Thomas, Global Product Leader for Industrial Sensors, Druck.
