Schneider Electric, bp could use hydrogen to decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors across the globe

With energy giant bp signing a new agreement with Schneider Electric to decarbonise high-emission customers in Australia, the EU, UK, and US, it is expected that hydrogen could be utilised to achieve this goal.

bp is progressing the hydrogen value chain whilst also supporting decarbonisation through a variety of methods including hydrogen, solar, and wind.

Each of these compliment the production of hydrogen, in particular wind and solar that can be used to create the greenest variant, and thus hydrogen generation could be key in the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industries.
