Scotland and Singapore to partner on hydrogen projects

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Scotland and Singapore has been signed to build hydrogen trade and innovation opportunities between the two countries.

Business Minister Ivan McKee signed the MoU on behalf of the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA) with the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association of Singapore (HFCAS).

Under the MoU, both organisations will help stimulate joint hydrogen and fuel cell technology commercial projects in Scotland and Singapore and commit to identifying technology barriers to the production, distribution and storage use of hydrogen and share best practice regarding hydrogen and fuel cell codes and regulations.
