Star Scientific wins major award

Australian hydrogen research and development company Star Scientific has won the 2020 Global Energy Awards’ Energy Technology of the Year award.

Star Scientific was chosen as a finalist from approximately 300 entries from over 36 countries.

The annual award recognised the company’s Hydrogen Energy Release Optimiser (HERO®), a source of dispatchable power and heat can propel Australia and the world to overcome the most difficult energy challenges.
