Studies find green hydrogen production and use technically feasible in Tasmania

The Tasmanian Government has revealed that its green hydrogen feasibility studies have concluded that green hydrogen production and use is technically feasible on the Australian island state.

Today (July 27) the Government released its findings from its three feasibility studies which received a$2.6m ($1.8m) in funding from the Tasmanian Renewable Hydrogen Industry Development Fund.

The three studies focused primarily to outline options to achieve short-term goals stated in the Tasmanian Renewable Hydrogen Action Plan (TRHAP) which includes targets of local production, consumption and export of green hydrogen in Tasmania.
