A normal work day adjusted to the current conditions and guidelines, which in my case means working from home. Although we used video conferencing platforms in the past, today’s schedule is built around virtual meetings with customers across the globe and internally with different team members across Pressure Tech.
How have your operations been affected by Covid-19? Have you seen the market affected?
The level of enquiries and general activities have continued at the same pace since before the Covid-19 pandemic, which we believe should be expected from a market that is still in the infancy of its growth phase. It’s the more mature markets that we cover, such as the oil and gas sector, that we’ve noticed a downturn.
We are very fortunate to have such a strong team of individuals who have adapted to working from home where possible, and others keeping the production of pressure regulators moving whilst social distancing in the office, machine shop, and assembly areas. We have made changes internally to ensure we are compliant with Covid-19 safe-working practices across the business to minimise risk. This change has had very little impact on our team’s ability to deliver general day-to-day business requirements, and to progress projects that will help us to continue to grow.
