Tasmanian Government inks landmark green hydrogen deal with Belgium

The Tasmanian Government has today (Feb 3) inked its first state-to-state agreement on green hydrogen with the region of Flanders, in Northern Belgium.

With a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the duo has said they will support cooperation on green hydrogen development.

Few details of the deal have been released, however, Guy Barnett, Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, has said the MoU extends beyond just exporting and importing hydrogen.
