Terberg hydrogen tractor begins trials at the Port of Rotterdam

Following its unveiling just under a year ago, Terberg’s hydrogen-powered terminal tractor is now being trialled at the United Waalhaven Terminals in Rotterdam.

Developed in collaboration with zepp.solutions, the tractor will work alongside conventional diesel terminal tractors, pulling the same loads, while being remotely monitored to collect a wide range of data.

Rob van Hove, Managing Director Terberg Benschop, said, “Our ultimate goal is to offer excellent performance for heavy duty applications combined with favourable TCO.”
