The ‘availability of hydrogen’ a key factor for ship owners looking to decarbonise, says TECO 2030 Senior Technical Sales Manager

Håvard Langdalen, Senior Technical Sales Manager at TECO 2030, discussed the future of the company and the entire hydrogen sector during H2 View’s Maritime Mobility Webinar.

Langdalen labelled hydrogen’s availability as key factor in the implementation of TECO 2030’s fuel cell technology moving forward.

He said, “No ship owner wants to take the risk of installing quite expensive equipment if you haven’t secured the availability of the fuel. So, we need secure hydrogen in main ports and also see the development in production capacity together.”
