TotalEnergies, Petrobras, Casa dos Ventos to explore hydrogen and renewables in Brazil

TotalEnergies, Petrobras and Casa dos Ventos have announced plans to explore joint opportunities in renewable energy and low-carbon hydrogen in Brazil.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the trio will jointly study opportunities to invest and offtake onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and low-carbon hydrogen in the South American country.

Casa dos Ventos, a TotalEnergies-formed joint venture, already has a 12GW portfolio of wind and solar energy in the country.
