Air Liquide is never far from the headlines when it comes to hydrogen and the industrial gas major has recently made a series of announcements as part of its commitment to clean energy.
From production and storage, to supply chain and into applications, Air Liquide has a ubiquitous presence in the US hydrogen economy.
Convinced by the potential of fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs), Air Liquide is investing millions in the hydrogen economy. The French company is investing $150m in a liquid hydrogen plant in the Western US, with work to begin early this year.
The plant will have a capacity of nearly 30 tons of hydrogen per day – an amount that can fuel 35,000 FCEVs.
