UlemCo launches mobile hydrogen refuelling unit for construction sites


UK-based transport firm UlemCo launched a mobile hydrogen refuelling vehicle last week, designed for use in construction and off-road environments.

Powered by a hydrogen dual-fuel engine, the HyTANKa refueler is a self-contained unit that can deliver high-pressure hydrogen, up to 350 bars, directly to machines on site.

The company said it can operate independently of fixed infrastructure like grid power or compression systems. It uses a two-way booster to refill hydrogen-powered machines and fill its tanks from lower-pressure sources, such as cylinder bundles or storage tanks.
