US start-up Utility eyes South Korean biogas-to-hydrogen plants with Kunwha E&C


US start-up Utility has inked a joint development agreement with South Korean engineering firm Kunwha E&C to deploy biogas-to-hydrogen production projects.

The tie-up marks another step by the Texas-headquartered company into Asia, where it will look to capitalise on South Korea’s support for both biogas and hydrogen.

Under the deal, the pair will look to deploy Utility’s H2Gen technology across the country, initially focusing on biogas-to-hydrogen projects to supply heavy-duty mobility uses like buses and trucks.
