Hydrogen technology company Verdagy wants to accelerate the commercial scale-up of its water electrolysis technology to support the green hydrogen market – and it has appointed a new Chief Technology Officer to do so.
The US-based company on Friday (August 20) said it has appointed Dr. Saroj Sahu as its new Chief Technology Officer to drive the roll out of its technology to customers next year (2022).
An innovative technology for the hydrogen economy, Verdagy’s technology combines large active area cells, operating at high current densities nearly ten times higher than those of traditional alkaline water electrolysis.
The cell architecture and selected membranes allow a large dynamic operating range enabling both load shedding and load gaining capabilities reducing overall system energy costs.
