Wales to gain hydrogen-powered trains subject to feasibility study by Ballard

Wales could be handed a boost to its hydrogen economy and decarbonisation efforts with Ballard unveiling today (March 9) it is leading a study into hydrogen-powered trains.

Being conducted by Ballard Motive Solutions, the feasibility study will examine the viability of deploying hydrogen-powered trains as a replacement for carbon intensive diesel variants.
