Walmart to acquire 20 tonnes of liquid hydrogen per day from Plug Power

US-based Walmart is ready to transition to hydrogen technologies with Plug Power signing an agreement to supply 20 tonnes of liquid hydrogen per day, the companies revealed today (April 19).

This liquid hydrogen is expected to fuel the retailer’s fleet of material handling lift trucks presenting an entry point for hydrogen technologies to integrate and decarbonise the wider business’ operations.
