Why HyVolution has been a hot gathering in the Parisian cold

The momentum for hydrogen energy and the flourishing value chain only continues to grow, and seldom is there such evidence of this in one building as there has been today at the HyVolution 2020 event in Paris, France.

Footfall has been brisk, business apparently booming, and the spirit one of buoyancy and collaboration – all of which has been underpinned by several calls to action and pointed messages during the gathering’s programme of short round-the-table talks.

It’s been a hot gathering that brings warmth to the cold of Paris in early February.

If I cast my mind back to late summer 2007, my first ever event for gasworld was at the Grove Fuel Cell Symposium in Westminster, London, where there were hundreds of delegates all gathered in the name of fuel cell technologies and clean energy. I remember feeling bewildered back then by much of the jargon and how the same calls to action were in all probability lost, somehow, to anyone outside of the event.
