Windpark Salzgitter construction progressing well

Work to construct seven wind turbines and a hydrogen plant in Germany is progressing well.

Comprising the Windpark Salzgitter, three turbines will be erected on the site of the integrated steelworks operated by Salzgitter Flachstahl, with four more on the surrounding group premises.

Preparation works for the seven turbines began back in January, starting with access roads and areas for cranes and construction machinery. The turbines are scheduled to be completed in autumn 2020.
