Wrightbus to double its production output in 2022 as a Northern Ireland First Minister visits the company

Wrightbus has revealed today (Dec 9) that it intends to double its output in 2022 as it welcomed a Northern Ireland minister to showcase its hydrogen mobility prowess.

This would increase the number of hydrogen-powered buses on the UK’s roads helping to decarbonise a vital industry in the race for net zero emissions.

To showcase the innovation Wrightbus is making in the transportation sector First minister Paul Givan visited the company to see the groundbreaking technology fuelling the UK’s green revolution.

2021 saw plenty of success for Wrightbus, one of the most influential moving forwards is the development of a hydrogen fuel cell powered double decker bus that can significantly reduce carbon emissions in urban environments.
