Faurecia works closely with a number of companies in the hydrogen space. What are the advantages of having partnerships? And can we expect to see more alliances formed this year?

Faurecia’s approach has been to build an ecosystem of partners, leveraging both commercial and technological partnerships which, among others, enable us to: synergise competencies to offer a best-in-class product, address new markets, and accelerate innovation with our R&D teams.

We are seeing new regulations introduced globally to support clean mobility, with regulations surrounding hydrogen applications still behind other solutions – is there a particular set of regulations you feel need to be introduced in 2022 to accelerate the development and roll out of hydrogen mobility solutions?

Increasing the availability of refilling stations and offering a more affordable technology will both lead to the industrialisation and mass adoption of hydrogen mobility solutions.
