Hydrogen buses, light duty vehicles and refuelling infrastructure in focus at European Hydrogen Week

Hydrogen buses, passenger cars and associated infrastructure are in operation across Europe today, demonstrating that these vehicles and hydrogen stations can do the job of conventional equivalents.

Three hydrogen transport projects funded by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU), described by the public-private partnership as its “flagship”, and one EU-funded project, were discussed today during day one of the first ever European Hydrogen Week, at the FCH JU’s Programme Review Day.

JIVE/JIVE2 

First up were the JIVE and JIVE2 projects, which are aiming to commercialise the market for fuel cell buses in Europe.
