Take 5: An interview with… Dennis F. Miller, Vice-President, SGH2 Energy Global LLC

Thanks for taking five with H2 View. For our readers that may be unfamiliar, can you tell us a little about SGH2 Energy Global?

SGH2 Energy Global LLC is an international corporation that focuses on the production of green hydrogen from an organic waste feedstock base. Our company operates under a build-own-operate (BOO) structure and belongs to a consortium that includes FLUOR, Munich RE, Stork, Edge Greentech, and Cater communications. This strategic relationship allows SGH2Energy to provide investors with a complete performance guarantee.

In brief, our high temperature plasma gasification system converts the organic waste into synthesis gas (syngas), composed of mostly green hydrogen and carbon monoxide (CO) at a rate of five tonnes per hour. It is our experience that the syngas does not present any trace of oxygen (O2), ozone (O3), nitrogen oxides (NOx) or any other contaminant.

Approximately 11 tonnes per day (tpd) of green hydrogen is produced, which is cleaned to 99.9999% purity and provided to hydrogen fuelling stations. The CO is partly converted to additional green hydrogen, and an excess syngas is used to make the facility energy self-sufficient.
