$15.5m funding to support the introduction of hydrogen trucks to Townsville, Australia

Ark Energy H2, Sun Metals, and the Queensland Government continue to support the development of the first hydrogen-powered trucking solution in Australia with a new joint $15.5m funding.

It is expected that the development of the new clean truck will significantly reduce carbon emission within the trucking sector whilst also growing the hydrogen industry within Townsville.

The investment for the project comes in two packages, $12.5m from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), and $3.02m from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).
