28 hydrogen-powered buses set for deployment in Saarbrücken

Wrightbus has received an order for 28 of its hydrogen-powered single deck buses for German deployment.

Placed by Saarbrücken-based transport operator Saarbahn GmbH, the order of Kite Hydroliners will be manufactured at Wrightbus’ Ballymena headquarters in Northern Ireland.

With the first five scheduled for delivery in 2024, the deployment will expand Saarbahn’s zero-emission public transport fleet.
