$43.3m hydrogen infrastructure and fuel cell vehicle project unveiled for Victoria, Australia

The Australian state of Victoria will soon be home to a brand-new hydrogen refuelling station, an electric vehicle charging site and 15 new fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).

Boosting clean mobility in the region, the new additions are the result of $22.8m in funding awarded by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), on behalf of the Australian Government.

New Energies Service Station received the capital and committed to developing the above opposite Viva Energy’s petroleum refinery. In total, it is believed the project will cost $43.3m.
