8 Rivers has announced the invention of the ⁸RH₂ CO2 Convective Reformer (CCR) capable of developing ultra-low carbon hydrogen and ammonia.

The technology, created by Rodney Allam MBE, harnesses advanced CO2 processes in a CCR, building on decades of decarbonisation expertise developed by 8 Rivers.

The company claim its able to capture greater than 99% of carbon emissions at a cost and scale unrivalled in the market, presenting a game-changing opportunity for the transportation, agriculture and energy sectors where hydrogen and ammonia can play key roles.
