Cummins Inc. has today (March 8) launched a new brand for its New Power business, dubbed Accelera by Cummins, with plans to deliver a 90MW electrolyser for a Canadian green hydrogen project.
The launch comes as a step forward in Cummins’ efforts to achieve its decarbonisation goals, focusing on evolving its technologies to reach zero-emissions across its product range.
Accelera by Cummins has already been selected to supply a 90MW PEM electrolyser system to Varennes Carbon Recycling’s plant in Quebec, Canada, coming as Cummins’ largest announced project to date, which will play a key role in turning non-recyclable waste into biofuels and circular chemicals.
