Adani Power plans to co-fire up to 20% green ammonia at Mundra plant

Adani Power has announced it will undertake a green ammonia combustion pilot project at its Mundra plant in India.

The company’s plans to co-fire up to 20% green ammonia in the boiler of a conventional coal fired 330MW unit.

The green ammonia will be produced from green hydrogen, through electrolysis using renewable energy, and would serve as a feedstock for the boilers.
