Advent Technologies unveils next-generation MEA hydrogen fuel cells with an increase in power density

A new hydrogen fuel cell system has been manufactured by Advent Technologies as a means to grasp a stronger hold on the hydrogen market whilst also supporting its adoption.

Recognised as the next generation of the company’s membrane electrode assembly (Advent MEA), these feature significant improvements in the systems lifetime and also strong potential for increasing the power density.

The MEA has been created as part of a joint development program with the US Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), and National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
