With the announcement today (14th April), Aeristech, a lead designer of advanced motor systems, will utilise the £5.15m ($7m) from a funding round, to drive forward the company’s e-boost technologies for hydrogen fuel cell, hybrid-electric and internal combustion engine powertrains.
Aeristech’s unique and patented technologies can deliver hydrogen and electric motors that are smaller, lighter and faster accelerating than its competitors.
The company’s smaller designed electric motors are capable of being used in both the automotive and aviation sector which could prove significant for decarbonisation goals in the UK.
