AFC Energy is set to deliver a 50kVA hydrogen-powered generator to Spain’s ACCIONA to assist in decarbonising construction.
The H-Power S Series generator, comprising a 30kW fuel cell platform, will be leased to the Spanish infrastructure and renewable energy company over a six-month period, after which it will have an option to purchase the system or further extend the lease.
AFC has said it will procure and integrate a 45kWh battery storage system capable of accepting direct current (DC) power feed for interface with ACCIONA’s end-uses.
