AFC Energy’s hydrogen fuel cells powering the ‘world’s first’ Urban-Air Port in Coventry, UK

UK-based AFC Energy has revealed today (April 28) that its hydrogen fuel cell systems is being utilised in the “world’s first” Urban-Air Port in Coventry, UK.

The hydrogen fuel cell being supplied by the company is being used to charge Air One’s fleet of EV service vehicles. This follows the Collaboration Agreement AFC Energy signed with Urban-Air Port Limited in September 2021.

Being developed by Supernal and Urban-Air Port, the Air-One deployable operations hub will enable the refuelling of several variations of zero-emission air transportation.
