Air France-KLM invests $4.7m into DG Fuels to support Louisiana SAF facility

The Air France KLM-Group will cooperate with hydrogen-based sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer DG Fuels and support its US facility via an investment.

The $4.7m investment will support the competition of the development work needed to reach final investment decision (FID) on DG Fuel’s Louisiana-based SAF plant.

Last October (2022), the Franco-Dutch company, Air France-KLM, announced an offtake agreement for 600,000 tonnes of SAF from DG Fuels which is set to be delivered between 2027 and 2036, and have now acquired a new option to purchase a further 75,000 tonnes with deliveries planned for 2029.
