Air Liquide recognised for its fight against climate change with CDP award

Less than a year on from when Air Liquide said it wants to accelerate its hydrogen developments to at least triple its turnover to more than €6bn by 2035, the industrial gas giant has been recognised for its fight against climate change with a CDP award.

A non-profit organisation that evaluates companies on environmental action, CDP today (Jan 14) confirmed that it has given Air Liquide an “A-” rating when it comes to climate change and water environment, recognising some of the group’s sustainability objectives.

Of course, hydrogen is a huge part of Air Liquide’s climate change missions, along with biomethane and other clean technologies, as the company strives to reach its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, with two intermediary milestones in 2025 and 2035.
