Air Liquide to supply hydrogen to HYNOVA for Sea Show 2021

Air Liquide is the official supplier of renewable hydrogen for the HYNOVA 40 pleasure boat during Sea Show 2021, a sea cruise taking place from May 26 to July 10, 2021.

The sea cruise will take place at different ports on the French Riviera with the show starting in Marseille and ending in Monaco, passing through Cassis, La Ciotat, Toulon, Porquerolles, St Tropez, Canners and Nice.

Equipped with a fuel cell and designed by Chloé Zaied, the 12-metre-long vessel has an autonomy of eight hours and produces its own electricity without generating polluting emissions thanks to the hydrogen stored on board.

The support given to HYNOVA demonstrates the Air Liquide Group’s drive to contribute to a more sustainable world through the development of a sustainable and innovative maritime mobility.

The hydrogen supplied is certified renewable and illustrates the group’s commitment to low-carbon solutions.

As a hydrogen pioneer, the group recently announced to invest by 2035 around €8bn ($9.74bn) in the low-carbon hydrogen value chain.
