Air Products’ CEO said he expects blue hydrogen to cannibalise grey hydrogen within the next decade.
Seifi Ghasemi told investors in 10 years, “I don’t think anybody will be using grey hydrogen,” adding, “Everybody will be using blue.”
“In the long-term, we are going to make only blue,” he told an earnings call. “15 years from now, we will not have any SMRs (steam methane reformers) running.”
