Air Products reportedly investing $1bn in Chinese hydrogen project

Air Products is reportedly investing $1bn in a liquid hydrogen production plant in eastern China.

According to Reuters, the 30 tonnes per day facility is expected to be operational in 2022 and would be the first large-sized commercial liquid hydrogen plant in China, and the largest of its kind in Asia.

To be located in Haiyan county in Zhejiang province, Reuters also says that Air Products plans to set up production lines for key hydrogen equipment.
