Airports gather all the needs of hydrogen, says VINCI Airports CTO at the Airbus Summit 2021

Eric Delobel, Chief Technical Officer at VINCI Airports, believes that once the supply of hydrogen is at a sufficient level, airports could well become hydrogen hubs.

Speaking at the Airbus Summit today (Sept 22), Delobel said, “What it is very interesting and very promising about hydrogen is that it is already something that makes sense for the facilities at the airport.

“An airport is really a place where we can gather all the needs of hydrogen. It is a unique place for hydrogen.”
