Australia’s hydrogen aviation sector to take-off with oversubscribed capital raise

Aviation H2’s hydrogen prospects could be ready to take-off with the company securing an oversubscribed capital raise in order to develop Australia’s “first” hydrogen-powered plane in the next 18 months, the company said today (Feb 15).

In relation to developing the hydrogen-powered aircraft, the capital raised will be put towards conducting a study for the development of a green energy jet engine powered by hydrogen.

This could help support not only the growing hydrogen aviation sector but also provide further demand for hydrogen in Australia.
