Australia’s Liberty Hydrogen launches with plans to produce 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia

A new Australian hydrogen company has launched today (August 4) with plans of developing an industrial-scale biomass to green ammonia facility.

Liberty Hydrogen’s planned facility looks to use large volumes of wood waste to convert pure hydrogen into green ammonia in Western Australia with a starting capacity goal of 100,000 tonnes.

H2 View understands the company intends to see its low carbon ammonia used domestically or sold internationally, as it seeks to position itself as a leader in the rapidly expanding low-carbon ammonia sector.
