Baker Hughes to become shareholder in green hydrogen project developer ATOME

International green hydrogen and ammonia project development company ATOME has announced Baker Hughes has subscribed £2.4m ($2.9m) to become a shareholder in the company with an interest of 6.6%.

ATOME has also revealed it will extend its 120MW Villeta, Paraguay, project to introduce and supply the world’s ‘first’ premium value green fertiliser to the market on an international scale in 2025.

Baker Hughes has granted a right of first offer to supply its turbomachinery equipment, which includes compressor technology, pumps and valves to ATOME.
