Ballard Power Systems has unveiled its eighth-generation high performance fuel cell module, the FCmove™-HD.
The company’s latest fuel cell innovation was revealed at the UIP Global Public Transport Summit, held at Stockholm, Sweden.
The FCmove™-HD fuel cell is the first in a family of FCmove™ products to be introduced and is specifically designed to meet the requirements of transit bus operators.
The fuel cell will be used in 1,000 fuel cell electric buses to be deployed across Europe by the H2Bus Consortium.

Features of the FCmove™-HD include, lower lifecycle cost, high reliability, simplified system integration, freeze start capability and higher temperature operation.
