Enegix Energy on Tuesday (16th March) confirmed it had selected construction engineering firm Black & Veatch to complete a feasibility study for the planned $5.4bn green hydrogen hub in Ceará, Brazil.
Touted as the “world’s largest” green hydrogen plant, producing more than 600 million kg of green hydrogen per year once operational in 2025, Enegix is developing the project, dubbed Base One, in partnership with the Government of Ceará.
The scope of Black & Veatch’s work for Base One includes technical design, supplier and technology selection, planning of execution, project time schedule, risk assessment, logistics strategy, and procurement strategy.
